

The Northland Community Council
(NCC) is an organization composed of many different neighborhood civic associations and 2
service organizations. The NCC represents nearly 100,000 residents in the northland
area. If the NCC were a city, it would be the ninth largest in the state of Ohio,
and the second largest in Franklin County. The NCC has been a strong voice in the
community for over 40 years.
The mission of the NCC is to represent and communicate the interests of the
residents and member organizations to government officials, councils and boards.
Coordinates the efforts and activities of member associations in support of their stated interests.
Promotes and fosters development and improvement of infrastructure within the NCC service area.
Promotes the general welfare, proper growth, and desirable development of the NCC service area.
Promotes and fosters goodwill and mutual understanding among residents and member organizations.
The exact boundaries
for the NCC are as follows:
North: I-270 east to Schrock Road to Alum Creek south to I-270 east to
Westerville Road south to Alum Creek to SR 161 east to Sunbury Road north to the
Columbus/Blendon Township line, east to Big Walnut Creek north to Central
College Road east to the eastern limits of the New Albany city limit line.
East: New Albany city limit line from Central College Road on the north to Morse
Road on the south.
South: Morse Road west to Conrail railroad tracks south to Ferris Road
(excluding township land north of Ferris Road as of 1988), west to Karl Road,
south to Cooke Road, west to the Penn railroad tracks.
West: Penn railroad tracks, north to Worthington City limit line and parallel to
its eastern boundary north to I-270

Any civic association that
resides within the NCC’s boundaries can be a member. Please read the NCC by-laws
(which are posted on this website) for a list of additional criteria to become a
member. If you, or your organization, are interested, please contact the Membership
Committee chairman listed under Committees.
